A rare Ron Schmidt brutalist metal bird sculpture on nest of nails. This unique brutalist sculpture does a very good job of marrying found objects with organic form. The contrast of the raw, welded metal and nails with the beauty of nature mixes for a fantastic sculptural scene. The wood egg also beautifully stands out against the dark background of the metals. This piece looks very good from a variety of angles. The egg and the whole sculpture itself can be taken out of the wood base it stands in. This piece is in very good condition. It measures 17 in tall, 18 in long, and has a 7.5 in diameter base.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
