Description

A chic porcelain lidded vessel sculpture by Joan Lurie. Signed on bottom. The lid of the vessel has an organic waved ribbon design in the center. From a private collection. Dimensions: 3.75h x 4.75diam. In very good vintage condition.  

Joan Lurie is an American ceramic artist who specializes in creating architectural porcelain sculptures. Her work is characterized by its clean lines and simple forms. She often incorporates textured surfaces and organic forms in her work. Lurie began her career as a studio potter, and she has been working in clay for over 35 years. She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and museums, and her pots can be found in private collections around the world.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.

 

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

 

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
