A dynamic modern wall sculpture titled "Marble Canyon Construction" by Suzanne Dalton & Clyde Foles. The sculpture showcases the art of fiber weaving. This is complimented with a marbleized watercolor by the Suzanne Dalton while Clyde Foles created the sculpture. A truly unique and conversation prompting artwork. On verso is original gallery tag from Rubiner Gallery. Artwork is dated 1987. Another tag on verso is an entry for the Midland Art Council. Dimensions: 23"w x 6"d x 54"h. In very good vintage condition. 

Suzanne Dalton’s formal art training was in fine art – painting. She studied loom weaving techniques with a master weaver, worked as an apprentice in a professional weaving studio, then opened her own studio specializing in large-scale site-specified fiber sculpture commissions. Ms. Dalton is a nationally recognized fiber artist represented throughout the U.S. and Mexico. During her career, the G.S.A. “Art in Architecture Program,” Washington DC, ranked her in the top 2% of large-scale fiber commission artists in the country resulting in numerous award and grant commissions. She also collaborated on a series of sculptures with her artist husband, Clyde Foles.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

 

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
