A classic patriotic mixed-media lithography with acrylic painting on paper titled “God Bless America II” by famed artist Peter Max. Hand signed in acrylic by artist bottom right. Created in 2001. Lady Liberty’s portrait makes an appearance alongside a full figure painting and Max’s rendition of the U.S. flag. Max again draws upon American icons like the Statue of Liberty to reflect his love of America. Max worked with Lee Iacocca of Chrysler in the ‘80s to raise funds to restore the Statue of Liberty. From a private collection, originally purchased from Park West Gallery in 2005. Gallery tag on verso. Dimensions: 38”h x 31.75”w x 1.5”d. In very good vintage condition. Peter Max is a German-American artist known for using bright colors in his work. His works are associated with the visual arts and culture of the 1960s, particularly psychedelic art and pop art. He has had countless commissions and exhibitions throughout his artistic career and his work has been described as the landscape of the 1960s and 1970s.

We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
